Vote Harder
Upon my travels to Europe recently, I’ve noted that absolutely everybody was consumed about shallow events of football, the best parties, the brightest fireworks, the best foods while complaining about the state of their situation and their country around them. Their solution is to only vote for the better political party to solve the problems. Absolutely they would never lend their minds to something as severe as what’s stated in the tweet below, it just won’t extend to that far to grapple with that beast.
Digital EU Dystopia
Now, cars sold in the EU will require a camera that scans the driver’s face to determine if they are distracted.
Also, Chat Control is pushed through too (when I was in the EU…a little freaky). It would allow the EU to scan all private chat messages of citizens. They can and will now legally scan any person’s messages, emails and photos you send without a warrant. It comes as no shock that they passed this law when the majority of the European Parliament was on vacation, so only a few were present and then created an “urgent” vote for it to pass it through
Lastly is the Age verification law, which requires users to prove their age with a selfie and ID, is also about to be implemented.
This is what I experienced:

A Breakthrough in Corporate Law?
Milei just submitted his AI legislative framework to Congress, where he proposes: – zero regulation on AI development, – a brand-new “non-human corporation” category for AI/robot-operated entities with limited liability -a low-tax regime with flexible governance rules. The limited liability company was first established in 1602. In effect, Milei, (I suspect others like Thiel are using Milei) wants Argentina to do the same for autonomous AI agents in 2026.

I’m not sure what to make of this just yet.
Mexican Meth Expertise Spreads to Africa
A recent article from Insight Crime discusses the presence of methamphetamine and arrests of Mexican nationals in Nigeria. Nigeria’s anti-drug agency described finding “a sophisticated, factory-scale methamphetamine production center run by a highly organized transnational criminal syndicate” citing that this level of sophistication is new to the country. Interestingly, South Africa and Kenya have also found that the presence of similar meth labs as well in recent years–all showing a newfound Mexican expertise: Chemistry

Insight Crime notes that the trend seems to be driven by the export of technical expertise, rather than the territorial expansion ambitions of Mexican criminal organizations or even the desire to hold managerial roles of operations or local cooks. Instead, they appear to play a specialized role, advising on production techniques while local groups retain operational control; a sort of outsourcing approach.
New Bubble in Cheese?
An Italian dairy just raised EUR 10M by securitizing wheels of aging cheese through an SPV Private credit is reportedly circling the structure next

Here’s an excellent version of it through Margot Robbie’s scene in the Big Short: https://x.com/junkbondanalyst/status/2077017770835796263?s=20
