I have an inherent bias against Europe now but I realize people still continue to gravitate towards the place. Most people simply want Europe to work (more so than Europeans want it to work). There are many beautiful buildings, traditions, people and views from the continent and when we think of Europe–we still conjure up these images. However, the continent is in a stage of decay and finding any hopeful outlooks or promising opportunities is bleak to say the least.
Despite all of this, there is one country who seems to have a few unique traits that very few people are discussing. Hungary is a place I have covered before, and while I haven’t covered Poland, it’s another country that is interesting–> but the country that everybody should be talking about is Slovakia.

Everybody is now in agreement that migrants are a major issue in Europe and being displaced from them is a regarded as a win. Slovakia continually ranks the best in this regard.
Here are a list of unique attributes that Slovakia offers for somebody considering Europe, particularly the European Union, as a place to live.
- They have embedded cash usage into their countries’ constitution. This was done immediately after the engineering on the digital Euro began. In practice, one can refuse to use the digital euro and elect to spend and accept a cash Euro still.
- They have been Anti-Ukraine War essentially from day one. Calling for peace, diplomacy, rejecting sending state funds and soldiers to Ukraine. Political figures have vocally opposed these moves from other European member states.
- Slovakia has a traditional culture which is seen as being more conservative (at a time when Europe is far-left everywhere). They are almost entirely Catholic or Orthodox.
- They are the only Europe nation without a mosque by fully preserving their culture
- It’s about ~40-50% cheaper than USA
- Lowest % of migrants in EU per capita. This has remained true for the last 10 years.
- Able to own a firearms
- Safety

Enjoying these facts so far? Let’s keep going!
- Slovakia, (this is true), is the only country in all of Europe where the number of immigrants (foreign-born) is falling! It is increasing in every single other country–even Hungary and Poland.
- For single, nomad-type men, Slovakian women are known to be very beautiful (disregard this otherwise!)
- The current Slovak administration has taken a very reasonable approach towards extending gas contracts with Russia. They, Bulgaria and Hungary have all been cognizant of gas shortages and decided to deal directly with Russia for cheaper, instead of buying it indirectly from Russia at a high fee like everybody else.
- Slovakia has no regulations on cryptocurrency. The EU have a huge number of rules however, so please tread carefully in this respect.
- Slovakia has been very, very critical of everything with Covid. The lockdowns, the masks, the propaganda, the lies, the injections, the extortion forces around the world. I am told that many people locally knew that this was a scam from day one.
- Slovakia is in the European Union but they are quite friendly with Russia–similar to Serbia
A motivational article here:
More benefits
- A nuanced situation–>No capital gains taxes on 1-year holdings on stock exchanges & 3-year holdings of all unlisted companies (individual-level)
- For companies owning 10% private companies for 2-years continuously there is no capital gains taxation (Corporate-level)
- Slovakia is food sufficient and a quiet small agricultural producer (47% of their country is farmland). Much of this production is diversified.
- Their debt to GDP sits around 56%, lower than the EU average. The most important industries are engineering, chemical, electrotechnical engineering, wood-processing and food industry. These items will get hit as Europe enters into a deep dark recession–but they are critical activities for whoever will resume activity again
- About 1/3rd of Slovakia is covered in mountains, allowing for a natural weather barrier, barrier for attacks and a deterrent for mass migration.
- 60% of their energy source comes from uranium
- The country is strengthening relations with their neighbours in the East.
Closing
Above are some of the interesting strategic benefits that Slovakia offers somebody who is worried about the direction the world is headed. Slovakia, for the time being, seems to be coming forward with sensible foreign & energy policies, a staunch rejection of Islam & its supporters, as well as sneakily being able to sustain its population with food, security & healthy neighbourhood relations.
Please note that I have not covered any of the negatives of the country–primarily that they are in the European Union. But–the Union will collapse and the conflicts will be worst in the high debt, destabilized countries with multicultural cities–three things that Slovakia does not have.
