Russia Getting Tactical
The Russian MoD is now systematically taking out all oil and gas facilities across Ukraine, including the stations. Over the past few days, a number of facilities have been hit by the Geran-2 long-range strike drones.
Putin has also been seen wearing military uniform addressing the nation. Vladimir Putin addressed Russia’s military wearing full military uniform as he declared that Russian forces are advancing across multiple sectors of the front.
Brutal Earthquake in Venezuela
Incredibly sad news out of Venezuela. Appears to have killed about 100,000 thousand people; but, more scary is the busted water storage facilities that are pouring out by the tonnage onto the ground. The shattered buildings, with an unknown number of people trapped will unfortunately soon lead to an enormous amount of hunger strikes–again.
Communist dictatorships don’t tend to give people breaks very often. We may see more US interests or mass migration from the country as a result.
News Cycle Stopped, So Problem Solved?
Experts are warning about a “compound shock” from:
- Rising energy prices linked to the Middle East crisis.
- A strengthening El Niño weather pattern.
This combination threatens rice production, fertilizer supplies, electricity generation, and food affordability across countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

Not spoken about but still serious for Asia has been severe weather. Severe storms and intense rainfall affected parts of the broader East Asian region. Hong Kong issued multiple black rainstorm warnings.
Nowhere is safe?
Rescuers were dispatched to Monaco after the impact of a powerful explosion on Monday evening. A first assessment shows three injuries, two of them seriously.
It’s said this is Vadim Vladimirovich Ermolaev (Ukrainian businessman, net worth $322 million) with his wife and teenager.

Cholera sweeping through Africa
Cholera is spreading in several African countries simultaneously.
- Africa CDC reported nearly 59,000 cholera cases and more than 700 deaths across 22 countries during the first quarter of 2026
China trying to widen their yard
The Philippines is demanding that China remove a floating structure that recently appeared at the disputed shoal. China says the platform is for scientific purposes.Philippine officials and many analysts worry it could be the first step toward a more permanent presence, similar to China’s earlier island-building campaigns.
Scarborough Shoal lies only about 220 km (137 miles) from the Philippines, giving them insight into the activities deeper beyond their borders.
