Weekly Weigh In: Preparing for War, Stock Short Idea, Rotten Groceries, War Being Over and Teenagers in Ukraine, Suez Under Threat
Effective April 20, 2026, the U.S. Military is increasing the maximum enlistment age from 34 to 42. Interestingly, prior to this, Pete Hegseth, the Secretary of the Department of War recently encouraged everyone who was kicked out of the military avoiding the jab, to urgently rejoin so they can fight for America *cough cough for Israel*

Stock Short Idea: Oh, Snap.
Snap Inc. (SNAP) holds a substantial, largely long-term debt load, with total debt at approximately $4.15 billion as of late 2025…this is about 60% of their market cap.
Debt-to-Equity Ratio: is very high, estimated between 155% and 181%.
Snap Inc. (SNAP) reported a full-year 2025 net loss of $𝟒𝟔𝟎 million, a 34% improvement compared to the $698 million net loss in 2024. I don’t think now is a good time to be burning half a billion dollars a year.
This is to say nothing of their $36M in interest expense alone.

Now, regulators in the EU do what they do best–destroy. Regulators in Brussels invoked the Digital Services Act—the sweeping EU standard for major online platforms. The investigation covers age verification, default privacy settings, and how users can report issues. Violators under these rules risk penalties as high as 6% of their global yearly turnover.
Snapchat runs the risk of young kids saying “thats so 2013…”, too.
How much longer can this digital advertising company go until some serious pullback?

Never Go Full Retard
It’s absolutely insane that people swallow Trump’s propaganda lies about the war almost being over… Just like the 24 hour Ukraine war, right?
U.S. and Israeli Airstrikes Destroy the Tallest Bridge in the Middle East A key highway bridge linking Tehran to Karaj was struck in today’s attacks, damaging a critical transport route and injuring multiple people. The B1 Bridge, located on the Karaj Northern Bypass, is considered the tallest bridge in the Middle East and a major connector to northern regions.
This latest US/Israel attack is one of dozens of guarantees that Iran will not stop attacking–to say nothing about the destruction they’ve already committed against the Iranian people such as their Ayatollah deaths, mass murdering a school and cutting power supplies.

This will save the global economy?
A day after Emmanuel Macron criticized Donald Trump, Iran allowed a French vessel to transit the Strait of Hormuz. Paris voted against military action to reopen the Strait of Hormuz at the UN Security Council, after which Iran granted French vessels the right to transit.
The limit is one French vessel per day, the first of which has already passed through the strait (at the time of writing)
Oh Yea, This Genocide is Continuing
Ternopil Regional Administration Head Taras Pastukh calls for the mobilization of teenagers now. First, they lowered the age of mobilization for Ukrainians to 18, and then to 16 from 2027. He believes that high school students are “already prepared and motivated soldiers” which translates to ready to be drone struck by Russian commandos.
Houthis Over Red Sea= Suez
Houthis claim their latest missile & drone strike on Israel was coordinated with Iran and Hezbollah, part of a unified multi-front assault. This is their “6th wave,” yet it’s still laser-focused on Israel, sparing the U.S. and Gulf states… for now. But with vital Red Sea shipping lanes right there, one spark could send further shockwaves across the global economy.
