A video that has changed my life (literally) was an interview between former KGB agent Yuri Bezmenov and G Edward Griffin. Yuri, using a cover name of Thomas Schuman, was explaining the 4 stages of psychological subversion otherwise known as active measures in the intelligentia community. His purpose for the interview was to warn everyday Americans of the danger of big government, the danger of losing common sense, rational, American values [on which the country was founded]. He sought to “wake up” the audience to identify the destabilizing tactics that everybody took for granted as harmless. His interview seemed extreme to many, but serves as nothing short of brilliance for us more than 30 years later. Thats because there was a process underway, and I believe we are in the final stage of what Yuri was warning about. The interview was done in 1984.
Yuri gave two or three other lectures (I watch them every 4 months or so as a reminder) around the same year. From what I can tell, he thought the United States was ending the stage of destabilization and it was ready for crisis. There have been many crises in the United States since–however I believe that the United States is morphing into its last and final stage (or perhaps it already has); normalization.
Normalization
Normalization, a cynical Russian name, was used after Brezhnev claimed the situation in “brotherly Czechoslovakia” is normalized, even though the Russians were well aware it was an absolute perpetual nightmare for those there.
I’ll skip explaining the previous stages, to say that normalization is entirely about control. It’s a period of psychological takeover by which the established government is looking for predictable control with no chance of internal opposition.
Normalization succeeds a period of crisis whereby failures are evident all around; failure to communicate clearly, failure to act in a civil manner, failure to recognize the most basic forms of morality, failure to respond to disasters, failure to address topics such as suicide, overdoses, gang activity, and the list goes on.
The self-appointed rulers and know-alls of society do not need any radicalism any longer (if you want to learn more, it’s the opposite of destabilization phases) nor do they need anymore crises to speculate upon. The new leaders of the country need a stabilized country to exploit the country.
From the government point of view, these forms of chaos are like weeds your lawn–they keep appearing and it’d better if you could just straighten them out once and for all. They want an orderly looking lawn to make their view easier; a UAE or Qatar type-obedience and control would be the ultimate goal. This is where Normalization must come into play to consolidate power.
The saying about burning everything down to rule over the ashes–is normalization

Western World
In conjunction with a failing monetary system, whacky asset prices, divergence of interests between banks and investors, tariff wars and realignment of geopolitical alliances, I believe politically, there’s a consensus that now is a perfect time to consolidate power, even outside of the United States.
When the government says one thing; it’s always the opposite
While many assume that these glorified characters such as Javier Milei, Elon Musk, Donald Trump or others are reducing the size of the state, they’re missing the fact that they’re not loosening power of the state. The corruption is never dealt with, the the guilty are never punished, the central banks continue to print money and the governments keep their taxation despite constant budget deficits. All the power has already flown upward into their hands, they are merely consolidating it from others who may oppose them. I always find it funny when protestors in Europe never march upon the banks.
Playing Field
My worldview separates the existence of the state and the existence of the people into separate entities. When someone says “Diversity is our strength” it is clearly the strength of the statehood itself as opposed to the population that occupies it. This concept applies with respect to the stages of a state takeover as well. Their normalization game applies to their own internal political opponents for their own ends (no, it’s not government for the people…). Removing the fat, regardless of left and right, blue or red ties, benefits their own purposes. Many will stop reading here given that this fundamentally challenges their view that there are good guys and bad guys; whereas I argue they are all bad guys.
Want one bit of evidence? Javier Milei, the self-declared anarchocapitalist, hasn’t touched one tax since becoming President. I stand corrected, he did, he raised them so the lower bracket citizens pay MORE taxes and made it more streamlined to pay the exact same amount (a notoriously high, communist nightmare amount). As of now, Trump’s abolition of the income tax has yet to come to fruition either.
Look at the compilation I have created of the actions taken by Milei since his inauguration. Follow me on X for more (below)

I seem to have lost the photo, but I had a photo showing massive banners hung in front of beautiful Buenos Aires university buildings protesting the federal funding cuts to universities. While most of the pay was indeed a waste of money–the fact that he and his administration continue to waste money leads me to leave it’s a move more in line of normalization than it is about fiscal integrity or ideological superiority.
Have you noticed that a lot of Company CEOs have been worshipping Trump during interviews? They’re stating their allegiance it seems
There are No “Good” Governments
The DOGE team is finally posting some examples of where they have cut spending and the savings. In one instance, $8 billion in savings is alledged – but if you look at the fine print upper right, it’s a contract that’s instead valued at $8 million.

Is this a typo? Or the very nature of government and something you’d expect of simply transferring it’s administrative bureaucracy in a different direction?
Throughout history, England and France have had many instances of extremely high trade tariffs existed, despite rampant smuggling remaining commonplace–the same as Argentina now
Have you ever wondered why millions of immigrants come into the country but you’re stopped in airport security over a candy bar or bottle of water?
Have you ever wondered why the IRS is worried about your 600 dollars when it wastes 600B or more a year–or trillions cannot be accounted for by the Treasury?
Have you ever wondered why FDA certifies so many dangerous drugs and bans ones that are shown to be efficacious?
Have you ever wondered why the media utters the same message, in unison, and it’s genuinely challenging to hear an opposing view?
Why? Because…Everybody is to pretend this is “Normal
Canada
Canada’s censorship apparatus is very well defined at this point–with a rigid control system of who is fed what information when. Mark Carney, former banker views citizens of the country as nothing as numbers on a spreadsheet (he talks to Canadians like they are junior analysts), of course shifting some numbers around is an easy solution for him and his cronies. Ideology of “liberal” or “conservative” don’t matter anymore.
Ruby Dhalla has been kicked out of the Liberal Leadership race… Because she’s a female person of colour and the Liberal Party only ever elects rich white men to lead their party! Do as I say, not as I do.

Canada is very dystopian as of late. A new bill purportedly intended to combat harmful content and child victimization caused reason for concern since it’s application extended far beyond. A number of provisions within the Online Harms Act are cause for serious concern. The criminal code is update to include, “every person who advocates or promotes genocide is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for life,” a charge currently punishable by “a term of not more than five years.”
I’ve written here about some serious attempts to reduce the population of Canada through euthanasia as well–if we can’t get them to comply we’ll end their lives, I suppose, Eh.
Free Speech? Constitution? We Can’t Have It
Trump also wrote an executive order signalling that anti-semitic speech on campuses by foreigners would be a treated with an immediate deportation and criminal fines. Is this what foreigners, especially students, are going to the United States to receive? This only makes sense within the context of the US government tightening the grip on their existing power to remove dissidents and destabilizing actors within the society. They want predictable control now.
Examples of Normalization
Breaking NEWS: President Trump has contracted Silicon Valley tech firm Palantir to create a master database on every American citizen. Peter Thiel, who founded the company alongside Alex Karp, mentored Trump’s VP, JD Vance
Who does this benefit, exactly?

No More Gay Social Activists; It’s Normalization Time

AI’s use case
Taken from CTV News in Canada:
Mark Zaid, a speaker at the Web Summit Vancouver tech conference, says Canadians need to be wary of the rise of artificial intelligence that could be used to either target political dissent or “shield” it. Zaid is co-founder of the non-profit Whistleblower Aid and says Canada is not immune to the forces that have shaped American political culture under Trump, as the two countries “share so much in common.”

Nearly all of the money saved from DOGE–is simply just spent again

Reversing Normalization
If you’re in agreement with me that things are pretty awful as they are–and becoming worse–then you’re probably wondering what can be done.
Yuri Bezmenov states that to reverse the process of Normalization it takes “Only and Always” military force. “No other force on Earth can reverse this process once it reaches this point”.
Whether advancements in warfare and online activity change this statement, I do not know, but it seems convincing that a state so concerned about solidifying it’s power would require a military intervention to cease it’s activity. About this… you should subscribe for more!
Closing
This is a post that could be much, much longer–but the goal of posting it now was to convey two ideas: 1) The mandate in the United States, Canada, Argentina and other countries is to contain everything and everyone rather than work upon immediate identifiable problems or deal with minuscule culture shifts and 2) There is a significant divide between “them and us” in how decisions are conducted. Actions taken by the state are to benefit their own parasitic goals even though they use “assisting the public” as the cover story.
I believe the United States and other Western-oriented nations are in their final phase of a complete and final political takeover of what once was a somewhat free and prosperous republic. Notwithstanding rampant corruption, mafias, gangs and mercantile interests throughout the last 150 years, the “new America” or the “new normal” is a completely different animal. Ironically, this is looking resembles quite closely to China or Russia’s model, the supposed enemy.
Holding complete strictness and order, without any dissenting opinions, voices or positions in media, policing, military, business, film, education, healthcare and most importantly, politics is going to be paramount for the future administrations of Marxist-Leninist America & beyond. As Yuri Bezmenov says, “all the sleepers, the radicals, the social workers, the homosexuals, the liberals, the professors, the professors, are being eliminated, they’ve done their job” which is what we are now seeing. Conservatives are mistaking this as the tide turning in their favour (from left to right), but I believe they are mistaken as this is only to facilitate totalitarianism over all citizens.
If Yuri Bezmenov was still around to view the state of our countries today I am unclear whether he would agree, disagree, or deem the United States as a fundamentally different country altogether. However, I am positive he would say that we are well beyond the state of crisis.
What will the new stage of normalization in the Western hemisphere look like? How can we manage ourselves to benefit or at least not fall far behind? This is what I explore in greater detail with On The Ball members. Please join the discussion and receive inside stock picks!
