Oh you thought the TV Show? Well no, but interestingly there are number of countries where guys can take their pick on the dating market because women far outnumber men in the population. This is the latest UN 2023 data.
Lets count down from Top 10:
10) Macau (88.5 males per 100 females). A wealthy autonomous region across the River from Hong Kong, known as the “Las Vegas of Asia”
9) Lithuania (88.4 males per 100 females). Lithuania is in the Baltics bordering Russia. This is likely a result of World War 2 and being under an oppressive regime for the century.
8)United States Virgin Islands (87.80 males per 100 females). Not to be confused with British Virgin Islands, this territory is American owned in the Caribbean and has much more women proportional to men than the mainland
7) Russia (86.70 males to 100 females). I know some Russian women who have said this, that it’s trench warfare for women to find and keep a man. This is likely because of the centuries of real trench warfare from Russian men
6) Latvia (86.30 males to 100 females). Same trend for the region

5) Ukraine (86.20 males to 100 females). Same trend for the region
4) Hong Kong (85.60 males to 100 females) In the same line as Macau, it’s puzzling why this pattern would take place in this area in East Asia
3) Belarus (85.50 males to 100 females). Par for the Russian-speaking course
2) France (85.40/82.70 males to 100 females) For Martinique and Guadeloupe in the Caribbean. Both of these are collectivities of France similar to the USVI for the USA. Something in the Caribbean seawater?
1) Armenia (81.90 males to 100 females) Armenia wins for the second year in a row. The Armenian genocide had a dramatic impact on the population as well as the large Armenian diaspora (of whom are mostly men). You’re most likely to encounter a female in this country!
The Russian empire & former Soviet countries have been a near-constant state of war, especially now! In fact, well over 500,000 Ukrainian men have been killed in the Ukraine/Russia conflict. Baltics & French men are going to Ukraine next. This forms a real discrepancy in the number of men that are available for women. In the words of my Russian friend, “We women need more men!”
