Mandatory Childhood Vaccines

Where Parenting Still Exists

You can see that most of the Americas have a rather strict and thorough vaccine schedule for babies and youth. European countries, despite practically being authoritarian countries still offer a degree of flexibility and personal choice on this matter. I wouldn’t sleep soundly though, the trend in Europe is not your friend.

For instance, everywhere associated with the United Kingdom (Crown Dependencies and British Overseas Territories) grant parental governance over vaccine matters. Other countries, namely France, Germany and Argentina are extremely strict and rigid granting legal authority to the courts over parents if it should come to that.

Trends in Europe

As of 2024, 13 countries had at least one mandatory paediatric vaccination, with France, Hungary, and Latvia requiring all but one vaccine. In contrast, 17 countries had no mandatory vaccinations, relying only on recommendations. Between 2014 and 2024, six countries Croatia, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, and Poland introduced or extended mandatory vaccinations.

Pneumococcal Disease

In 22 countries, vaccination against pneumococcal disease is recommended as part of their national immunization program. However, in seven countries (Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Hungary, Latvia, Poland, and Slovakia), the vaccine is mandatory. Estonia is the only country where no recommendation for pneumococcal vaccination has been implemented.

Not Everywhere Enforces

Penalties have a large range. In general, penalties are the following:

  • Fines
  • Publicly humiliation
  • Child not allowed to enter school
  • Losing employment
  • Losing custody of children
  • Any variation that the courts deem appropriate
  • Responsible for murder as being a vector transmitting disease (legally possible but I could not find an instance)

It’s worth noting that the more you look into childhood vaccine mandates, the more you realize how poorly enforced they are at the state level. Rather, matters are resolved at the doctor and hospital-level. For those concerned, it’s best consult with both of these well in advance of giving birth if you have concerns.

A change I’ve come across: Chile & France

Parents who do not comply with mandatory vaccination requirements can face administrative fines. These fines can range significantly, from approximately $7 to $72,500 USD (5,159 to 51,592,000 Chilean pesos). The imposition of these fines serves as a deterrent against non-compliance and underscores the government’s commitment to maintaining public health standards.

There have been instances where hospital directors have filed “writs of protection” against parents who refuse vaccinations for their children. In these cases, the Supreme Court of Chile has upheld mandatory vaccination programs by ruling that the rights to life and health—alongside international obligations under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child—take precedence over parental rights. For example, decisions made by the Supreme Court (such as Decision 7074 on November 15, 2012) have reinforced this legal stance.

In France, the legal framework surrounding vaccinations in France mandates certain immunizations for children.

One notable case involved a couple who faced court proceedings for not vaccinating their infants against these mandatory diseases. They were accused of mistreating their children due to their refusal to comply with the vaccination requirements set by French law. The case was significant enough that it was referred to the highest legal authority in France, the Cour de Cassation. The couple argued that they believed the vaccines could cause more harm than good and expressed concerns about additives in vaccines. Their defense raised questions about parental rights versus public health obligations, highlighting a broader debate within French society regarding vaccination policies.

Step 2

If you have received personalized advice from Open Door Consultancy, you may have considered the possibility of second citizenships; for both yourself and for your children.

If you are wondering about places where parents still exert autonomy over what enters their child’s bodies’, it’s worth considering if they will receive citizenship by being born in the particular country in question. Generally, the Western world goes by granting citizenship if you are born within the countries’ border whereas the rest of the world grants citizenship only if there is a blood tie.

Closing

I have been saying this for sometime now–We ARE in World War 3. It is not a war against red or blue suits or countries’ flags. We are now in a battle between fascist interests (merging of corporations and government) who mean to erode every bit of nationalism, family, history, culture, economic viability and financial future of the respective nations for influence and profit.

At the same time, there are other battles fought over religious beliefs in the Middle East and other geopolitical that strive to maintain the relevance of the US dollar (by bullying neutral nations to continue to use US reserves than think of other alternatives such as gold or BRICS trading). These large shifts in the tectonic plates cause other changes that we can see such as migration of peoples, a weakening of meritocratic states, monetary inflation, a failure to distinguish a proper path forward and more tyrannical forms of governance. Part of these tyrannical shifts in people’s minds (JOIN AS A MEMBER TO LEARN MORE ABOUT TYRANNIES), is the separation of family; this looks like less births, more abandoned children and the empty promise that the state will take care of the children as opposed to parents. Mandatory vaccines, to appease corporate interests and to ensure a weakened controlled mass (not only physically but submissive psychologically) is merely one small symptom of this.

For the growing number of future parents that are seeking to walk their own independent path with respect to forced (untested) medicines, there are still a number of options available. However, it may require you to travel extensively and carry an open-mind with what country is acceptable to give birth.
