How to Kill The Samurai

The United States’ Totalitarianism Towards Free Markets

The Japanese Samurai; an image of controlled chaos. Some may view the Samurai as symbol of freedom, strength, power and protection.

Perhaps this is why the cryptocurrency wallet and exchange (spelled Samourai) based their name off this majestic warrior. But, as long as you associate with the United Socialist States of America, you’ll get swiped down, Samurai or not.

News

Samourai Wallet, a Bitcoin privacy service, has been shut down and its founders arrested! Keonne Rodriguez and William Lonergan Hill Are Charged with Operating Samourai Wallet, an Unlicensed Money Transmitting Business That Executed Over $2 Billion in Unlawful Transactions and Allegedly Laundered Over $100 Million in [Criminal] Proceeds.

RODRIGUEZ was arrested last week and is expected to be presented before a U.S. Magistrate Judge in the Western District of Pennsylvania ASAP. HILL was arrested this morning in Portugal based on the U.S. criminal charges (this is the second time that crypto investors have been given up by the Portuguese authorities to the US authorities). Moreover, In coordination with law enforcement authorities in Iceland, Samourai’s web servers and domain (https://samourai.io/) were seized.  Additionally, a seizure warrant for Samourai’s mobile application was served on the Google Play Store.

Moreover, a Bitcoin-only noncustodial CoinJoin service, was simultaneously destroyed in the process. Samourai gave users privacy by allowing them to coordinate with other users to mix their funds to break the transaction graph.

The question is, why now? At a time that Roger Ver, a famous crypto investor has also been sent to the United States on alleged retroactive taxes he didn’t pay & many crypto exchanges, swaps, sites and the-like delisting coins & shutting down. The CEO of Binance was also charged in the United States despite having no exposure to the United States at all. The United States are trying to play police for the entire world with respect to cryptocurrency.

Bigger than you think

Samurai has been working fine without any complaints from its users for literally a decade. Some background on it:

RODRIGUEZ and HILL began developing Samourai in or about 2015.  Samourai is a mobile application that users can download onto their cellphones, and the application has been downloaded over 100,000 times.  After users download Samourai, they can store their private keys for any BTC addresses they control inside of the Samourai program.  These private keys are not shared with Samourai employees, but Samourai operates a centralized server that, among other things, supervises and facilitates transactions between Samourai users and creates new BTC addresses used during the transactions.  Samourai is used by customers all over the world, including customers located in the United States and in the Southern District of New York

Taken from the State of New York report:

Samourai offers a cryptocurrency mixing service known as “Whirlpool,” which coordinates batches of cryptocurrency exchanges between groups of Samourai users [to prevent tracing of criminal proceeds by law enforcement on the Blockchain]. Second, Samourai offers a service called “Ricochet,” which allows a Samourai user to build in additional and unnecessary intermediate transactions (known as “hops”) when sending cryptocurrency from one address to another address.  [This feature similarly may prevent law enforcement and/or cryptocurrency exchanges from recognizing that a particular batch of cryptocurrency originates from criminal activity]

This is no joke, their head is set to be put on a spike for all to see: “…which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, and one count of conspiracy to operate an unlicensed money transmitting business, which carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison”

There is 10,868 Bitcoin in Samourai whirlpool. This attack by the US Government on Samourai wallet is really big–> at today’s value of Bitcoin that’s 688,680,642.00 USD

Notice I’ve bracketed two areas that seem to imply that the fact that this exists is 100% to commit crime. Rather, this was a major method of preserving privacy on the internet, which of course is required if you want to generate a free market of internet payments. Now, such freedoms are being destroyed by Marxist-Leninist America.

Fake Crime

It’s important to remember the fact that Money Laundering really is a relatively new crime according to history. “Money laundering” is a fake, fiat-era crime. It presupposes the state has the right to know nearly every financial transaction made by its citizens, despite the 4th Amendment (for US Citizens). It has only been a crime since the 1986 Money Laundering Control Act. And the term itself only goes back to the 1970s, immediately after the gold standard itself was dropped; a time when financial transactions had freedom & autonomy. Any sort of black market is, and historically always has been, recognized as the free market.

The reality is that American and European governments have tightened the grip of control over their people to the point where they arbitrarily create laws to ensure they remain compliant cows to be milked. Similar to a country like Saudi Arabia, Maldives or Myanmar, the United States is becoming a country where you could unknowingly be breaking the law.

The United States claims that anybody who seeks to innovate in the realm of privacy (and consequently, private property) must be assumed and prosecuted (no matter where in the world) as a criminal enterprise. In this case, if Rodriguez or Hill killed somebody they could have received a reduced sentence. Never mind the main proponent of human trafficking, money laundering, inflation, wealth destruction through extortion and deaths from warfare are all at the hands of the state.

This comes down to the US government wanting to make an example of these two individuals and to destroy anything that can viably challenge the decaying dollar system. The ethos that is held in Washington is identical to those of the Bolsheviks during the Russian revolution a hundred years ago.

Closing

The trend for cryptocurrency is negative for all sorts of reasons. I’ve wrote about it a great deal (please see the buttons below), but the methods of obtaining, using, the number of businesses accepting and exchanging it for fiat currency are running thin. I predict the next large wave of innovation, cryptocurrency or not, will originate from a place far from the purview of the United States.
