Canadians & Brits are not Speaking

Are you authorized to be talking?

A finding as of late…

While we try to create interesting articles for everyone, we realize that there’s a segment of the population who just doesn’t care about military applications, stock shares and data on credit card debt.

To compensate with more content for this neglected audience, we welcome the public to produce their own articles and following a brief review we will post it to our site–More minds at work! We also have a page for brief posts and a method that subscribers can earn on their postings.

But without bugging people on the street, I’ve first asked people who are personally known and who I believe offer some niche ideas that the public would be interested in reading about. However, i’ve continually been met with the same responses.

“I’m not authorized to be talking about that” “I don’t think I’m in a position to comment” “I’m no expert, I don’t think people would listen” “I haven’t taken that class or graduated with that qualification” “Nobody would be interested and I have no certification” “You’re asking the wrong person to produce a piece of work on that”

Ironically, this became a small post in itself…

The response has overwhelming become “I’m not ‘somebody’, i’m not certified, accredited, in a position or granted permission to speak on such”. In other words, I am not in a position to speak my own independent thoughts, ideas, commentary, opinions if it doesn't coincide within my position in society. Like comrades in the Soviet Union or parteigenosse in the National Socialist Party (Nazi), you stay within your role and don’t deviate. Only if Big Brother approves, shall I be free.

This mentality is baking into the psyche of your average Westerner. They are assuming that if they aren’t wearing their badge of status, they themselves, are incapable or should not walk the unknown path. They immediately doubt their ability both now and in the future to become more informed, knowledgeable and a competent speaker on a topic (of which, I may add, already interests them). And you wonder how everybody complied to the mask mandates and self-lockdowns?

Without this unknown path, society becomes soulless, where you are only a proponent of a narrow set of opportunity rather than being pluripotent to learn, discover and engage with the wonders of the world. This mentality shatters the necessary risk an individual must take required for entrepreneurship, learning and finding truth behind lies.

Not the same place

“I didn’t take that class” says that a person is only worthy if someone, above them, were to instruct them because I, myself am incapable or unworthy of development. I fear people now do not see themselves as independent agents of free speech & action and naturally will remain self-constrained. Perhaps fear has reached such heights–a utopia for statists like Trudeau seeking for utmost control.

There is a deep collectivistic mindset that has not been present when I was younger & I’ve only see few speak of it. Canada, United Kingdom, United States, Australia, much of Europe are alien territory relative to the country of their ancestors.

Why this matters

There may be a misunderstanding about who people are now because everybody gets saturated inside their own echo chambers. In this article, I write that silencing voices are a problem because you never know who you are truly dealing with; everything is a charade.

Investors may be overstating the likelihood of success with new innovative and venture investment opportunities and the type of worker that belongs to companies that their money is behind. Perhaps more miscalculated is the class of “conservatives” who are quick to assume that things will return to when they were young, to something normal, to “fight back” against this clown world. They are betting everything on this nostalgia but I believe there is absolutely no will to change. The minds who live in the current country do not hold the same values as years prior.

Closing

I wanted to write about this not because I was upset in the response but because of the consistency of the response of which speaks to something greater. A change in the psyche completely–from an individualistic type society to one of collective authoritarianism.

Society, any society, is best when it cherishes individuals who have ideas and competition; open competition where the best win and the worst fail but everyone aspires for expanded intellectual growth. If not, it always has a bad ending…

So speak your mind dammit!
