Argentina’s New President is Great, But Is He The One In Charge??

Argentina Can’t Go Too Long Without a Bad Idea

WW3 Escape

Many have touted Argentina as also being the perfect Plan B in the event of World War 3. You have tonnes of agricultural land, tonnes of oil & gas reserves, tonnes of fresh water, lands yet to be explored, all types of landscapes and most of all, a major, major food/wine producer. It is isolated from the rest of the world (in fact, both World Wars saw Europeans escape to here) & it’s cost of living is very easy to contend with even for struggling Westerners (if you can navigate their dystopian financial system). Ginormous steaks for sale in restaurants are about 80% cheaper than anything you’d receive in European countries for instance.

Even if you become a bit more fatalistic, some have shown that Argentina is largely untouched by jetstreams carrying radiation should nuclear bombs be dropped.

Argentina is largely a European population (of Euro descent), with a noteworthy level of sophistication, fantastic architecture, gorgeous scenery resembling the Southern US States. They even hold the highest level of English-knowledge in all of Latin America & they are the 7th largest land mass country in the world. There’s lots to love.

Milei

Javier Milei, their new president is a real anarcho-capitalist. For those new to the term, anarcho-capitalism (or AnCap for short) is a political ideology where you do not believe the state has a right to exist as it’s viewed as purely as a means of coercion & monopolized violence (a view I too, hold). Milei has not shyed away with his ideological standpoints by displaying elaborate, very-well articulated moments with Tucker Carlson, on national television and even in front of the parasites at the World Economic Forum (in fact he called them parasites and useless to their face!). He has continually explained the result of any collectivistic government & highlighted that it is the true suspect to blame for all the chaos, destruction, inflation and theft not only in Argentina but throughout global history.

Milei has fired a considerable number of government workers & departments–so much so that he’s nearly balanced their annual budget. All of whom belonged to fictitious “jobs” who were simply milking the country dry–of course people become angry at their free handouts coming to an end for the sake of getting the country back on track. So far, the only tangible change is that inflation is slowing down and the country is no longer an extreme bargain that it used to be merely months ago. One gentlemen compared the salary that one earns in Argentina relative to the added cost of living and said that the cost of living is similar to an average US citizen trying to afford anything in Monaco. Currently approximately 62% of the country meet the definition of being in poverty–some suspect this will capsize into a civil war (FIND OUT IF SO ON OUR PAGE HERE!), others suggest that after these pains, Argentina will prosper.

Controlled Opposition?

Not everybody has been sold on Milei’s presence however. Despite his political sweet-talk, many have remained a skeptic of him from day one. Most have highlighted that he was a member of the World Economic Forum far before he became relevant in Argentina. Additionally, he won seemingly an organic race with little personal costs to his campaign. Some have also suggested his entertainment background provided him with the skills to “act” in a way that the central planners would like to puppet from behind the scenes, similar to Ukraine’s President plant.

I concur that the most strange elements of Milei has been his gravitation towards Judaism. He had been seen hugging Volodymyr Zelenskyy and dearly presenting him with a Hanukkah with many sincere words being spoken (unexpectedly). Another instance showed him sobbing like a 5-year-old at the “wailing wall” in Jerusalem, supported by many rabbis and prominent Israelites. Soon after, he is seen dancing and celebrating with them in a fashion he hadn’t shown while in Argentina. It’s also worth mentioning that very large hedge fund/private equity managers as well as US bankers and Jewish investors were spotted in an unexpected meeting in Buenos Aires 1 day following the announcement to privatize and sell the countries’ assets (something that’s nothing new to Argentine history however). It would seem, that rather than privatizing the companies’ assets for Argentine citizens (which would provide an equity share of interest in the nation itself for its citizens), he seems interested in selling off the assets to foreign investors, perhaps deliberately? When asked if he would convert to Judaism he had replied that he is exploring the possibility.

Those who were skeptical from day 1 feel like they could a feather to their cap once they realized that Milei decided to regulate and restrict the use of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Strangely, this came after signing a bill that individuals were free to use anything as currency like dollars, yen, gold, silver, bitcoin, beans, rocks, anything.

Personally, I find it strange that an AnCaps’ suggestion for his tax policy to resemble the “global minimum tax” insanity stemming from Capitol Hill & encompass more tax payers. MORE HERE:

Big No-No

While I am still amazed an actual AnCap became elected president of a country for the first time, I remain skeptical on both whether he can reverse the course and whether there is even an intent to do so. Milei during an interview recently articulated that he intends to support Ukraine during the Ukraine-Russia border war by all means necessary. Argentina, historically a neutral country, separated by oceans and seas, has no business whatsoever in this regional conflict. Even “fanboys” of Milei had admitted to a loss on this policy decision, but this was only a precursor.

NATO? Argentina isn’t even North, Nor Atlantic!

By direct order of President Milei, Argentina will seek to negotiate in Brussels an agreement that allows it to be a NATO partner (when has Brussels/NATO/Pentagon ever turned down the opportunity to add a member). Given the current collapse of Europe on the old continents borders, this should not be any priority for Argentina.

Argentina has nothing to gain but only to lose with this decision. Rather than focus on their own meat, wine, water, oil & tourism productions, they will implicate themselves with unnecessary trade disruptions & political turmoil. A neutral Argentina trades with everyone providing free trade and commerce with no ideology besides mutual benefit.

Trade implications could maximize trouble for this agricultural nation

It’s curious that Ireland & Switzerland are not found in NATO but we’re considering across the Ocean in the other hemisphere the integration of Argentina.

Dealing with the USA (NATO) is like dealing with Mexican Narcos… the minute they do something for you they’ll always have that favour over you and you have very little room to refuse their future requests. Never accept the money

Mexican Investor

Again, Argentina has so many advantages to be able to sit out WW3 and that is quite rare. Why get in the mix if you were truly sovereign? Argentina is not close to anything, they hold all the resources to sustain themselves (and the continent), they hold the potential in their markets (as all the fear has been priced in already), an opportunity to reverse or at least cool-off their hyper-inflation. People are sick and tired of being sick and tired, and they have a chance to be one of the wealthiest places on the planet during the global chaos–becoming involved is nothing but a shame.

My Thoughts & Closing

I believe that Milei, while ideologically sound and likely is a true libertarian through and through, is controlled from abroad. I believe that Israel and it’s proponents have a tremendous amount of leverage over his decisions within the wealthy, resource-rich country and/or the United States are holding them hostage. In other words, it’s it a sweet place for you and I, Uncle Sam took notice, too. One instance of this is the fact Milei has expressed his interest to dollarize the economy to extinguish inflation. To me, it’s likely that the Bidenistas would only permit this if he were to support the endless stupid US wars. His involvement with this is insane US foreign policy may be the price he’s paying to be able to stabilize Argentina. READ ABOUT WHERE ELSE THE US DOLLAR HAS HELD A COUNTRY HOSTAGE. Nevertheless, Argentina seems eager on “siding” with USA on many matters which tells me that their neutrality opportunity will be broken.

Perhaps the best part of Milei is that he has woken up hundreds of thousands to the political ideology of anarchocapitalism. Although, in the meantime, I remain deeply skeptical of Milei’s intentions and the ability of Argentina to reach it’s full capacity in the relatively near-term future. I am not dismissing it as a Plan B location but it’s difficult to forget the endless rounds of inflation, government corruption & dystopian society before Milei. The reality remains that it’s hard to ever trust the Argentinian government to get a single thing right.
