The Result of Locking Primates in a Cage
Due to the increased cost of living crisis in Canazuela, a relative of mine has been forced to return to work after being retired for a few years. It’s really unfortunate, but he said that there’s a more unfortunate matter going on. I asked what he meant and he said that everyone seems brain dead. Of course, this is something you’d normally hear…but this time is different.
When talking to others, also in Canazuela (who don’t know one another) about how matters are going on there, I’ve heard the same thing–a general inability to operate basic tasks, to remember recent events, to understand straightforward mathematics and different words outside of the neologisms used today. A general illogical manner of thinking that is widespread.
I pursued further and my relative said that “there’s a stare in people’s eye, I see at least 2 people a day who look… lost, people do not walk without texting on their phone” and he (a teacher) said he receives less questions compared to prior years.
He jokingly said, “I had to check to see that they were still awake even though their eyes were open”.

A rant from Toronto also describes people going about in the Matrix.
What’s going on?
Of course these are just anecdotes, we could all be pessimistic people… but perhaps there’s something to it. Perhaps forcing people to work at jobs they dislike to afford life because of credit creation, locking them inside of their homes, depriving them of social interaction and endless fear porn in social media/TV doesn’t make people too happy. Could it be?
How is your mood lately? Has it changed since the declared pandemic? Are you happy with your situation or would like a change?
